DIY Coasters

This is one set of the finished product. I have tried several different ideas for DIY coasters and this is my first successful go at it. Here is what you need:

-4x4 tiles(I got mine for $0.13 a piece at Home Depot)
-Mod Podge
-Mod podge Applicator(I used a roller bottle which i pictured below and purchased at Hobby Lobby)
-Any type of paper to cover the tile(I used wrapping paper for the Bears coasters and scrap book paper for the second set)
-Felt to cut into squares and glue to the back
-Spray paint clear glossy sealer(not pictured)
-Hot glue gun(not pictured)

I placed a thin layer of the Mod Podge on the tile before placing my 4x4 piece of paper on it(this helps hold it in place while you are coating it).

I then placed the paper on the tile and began putting a layer of Mod Podge on top of the paper, waited 15 minutes and placed another coat. I did this for total of four times.

I let the tiles dry for about three hours before spraying a layer of the spray sealer. This takes about 30-45 minutes to try.

Lastly I glued a square of felt to the bottom so the coasters do not scratch the table.

Another version with scrap book paper came out like this:
